Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing this letter to apply for the position of the Maître d’ for the Plump Duck Café this year.

I think I would fit into this job very well as I know how it feels to have a big responsibility. I will have a big improvement on my behaviour for this job because it is very important if something goes wrong.

I’m committed and loyal to all my activities and I’m also very positive which means if something does go bad, I won’t give up. I’ll keep working.

My skills will fit into this job really well; at the least it requires reliability, responsibility, loyalty. And I’ve got those skills quite well.     I think I’ll be a great Maître d’ for this year’s Café

Yours sincerely, Samuel Taylor
